What Mary Conlon's Clients Say About Her

Over the years Mary has treated hundreds of clients with a wide variety of ailments and conditions. Here is a small sample of what Mary's clients have had to say about her abilities to help them. These are genuine comment from real people, just like you, that Mary was able to help.

Mark Lynskey from Galway Who Suffered With Back Pain

I visited Mary for an initial treatment for a back pain complaint following a road traffic accident. The treatment gave me great relief and certainly surpassed my expectations I visited her for a second treatment a few months later and it was also very helpful. I would highly recommend Mary. She offers great service and is a consummate professional.

Elaine Freeman Who Suffered From Problems Related to Stress

I was referred to Mary back in late 2008 and after her initial treatment, I continued to see her as my practitioner on a regular basis. I had been familiar with Cranio Therapy and Reiki, but Mary was the first therapist to make a massive impact with her work. I went to her with chronic stress related problems, and for help as I was coming off prescription medication, which has proven to be the hardest substance for the body to recover from.

Mary made me feel instantly at ease, especially as she is so practical and down to earth, and in alternative healing, that's very important. Her treatments are hugely effective, and completely non invasive. For me the reiki was amazing, each time I had it done I felt so relaxed and care free afterwards, and I had never found it effective before. All Marys treatments are unique to her as a therapist, and just the general advice she gives out is so informative, and insightful.

I have been treated by a number of complementary therapists before Mary, but it's like all areas of healing, you have to find the right person for you. Something she said to me once after a treatment was 'when you are feeling low, or not sure where to go or what you're doing, think of someone who inspires you' . That was an excellent piece of advice, I've kept it with me ever since, and as I told her at the time, I always think of Mary.

Mary is an excellent therapist, and I would and do recommend her to anyone, who is troubled by anything, be it physical, emotional or mental, or all three. I will definitely continue to count her as a trusted friend and practitioner.

Geraldine From Galway Who Had a Lower Back Problem

I tried Cranio-Sacral Therapy originally two years ago because of an ongoing problem with my lower back. As a result of a combination of falls and injuries over the years my lower spinal column had become weakened. At times this caused my back to go into spasm. When this happened the pain was unbearable, working, sitting, standing, walking, and even sleeping became almost impossible. I try to avoid anti-inflammatories and pain -killers. After my first visit to Mary Conlon, cranio-sacral therapist I knew this was the right treatment for me. Within a few minutes of lying on the plinth I could sense my lower spinal column almost "float" back into position. For the remainder of the treatment I fell into a totally relaxed sleep. After that first treatment the muscle spasms in my back had gone and I was able to go walking, swimming etc again to help strengthen and tone my back. I now have a cranio treatment once every few months just from a wellness point of view. It destresses, boosts energy and helps promote lovely healthful sleep. Mary’s no-nonsense practical approach suits me and I have complete confidence in her. A simple no frills approach that does exactly what you want.

James Who Had Been Diagnosed With Suspect Dyspraxia

My son and I have visited Mary for cranial sacral therapy. I heard about the treatment through a friend that suggested it may be of benefit for my son James.

James is 5 and has been diagnosed with "suspect dyspraxia". The reason it is classified as suspect is the due to the fact that he is young and diagnosis can only be confirmed when he is older and symptoms become more pronounced. Therefore I consider myself forewarned and am taking full advantage of this crucial period of development in James life.

I am confident that with the right treatments and therapists James will lead a perfectly normal life. James tends to get frustrated due to the fact that his motor coordination is poor, simple tasks like getting dressed, brushing his teeth and riding a bike are something that he can not manage and this generally result in temper tantrums and tears. His mobility, flexibility and speech are poor and he has attended occupational and speech therapists.

Cranial sacral message had been recommended to me as an alternative and successful treatment for dyspraxia. As I wanted to have a better understanding of the treatment I went along for a session with Mary prior to bringing James. My first treatment was extremely relaxing, I had a light headed sensation for a while after wards and slept extremely well that evening. I would describe the feeling as warmth followed by peace of mind. Physically my mouth felt dry and I felt thirsty, I have since learnt that this is part of the detoxification of the body and it is recommended to drink plenty water.

I also monitored my sons behaviour, similarly to me I noticed he was thirsty and tired. It wasn't till a week later that something remarkable happened that proved to me that a shift in Jame's energy had taken place. James was extremely sensitive to anyone touching his head, which as you can imagine makes brushing hair and trips to the barber extremely challenging. Up until receiving his treatment his behaviour in the barbers was traumatic for him, me and the barber not too mention the on lookers. We went along for the quarterly haircut, I was prepared for the usual behaviour and much to my surprise it did not happen at all. James sat calmly on the barbers stool and chatted away while the scissors, comb and electric clippers went round his head. To me this was remarkable.

I have taken a personally interest in how the treatment works and having read alot of material, attended seminars and also trained in some energy healing work I am in full support of the physics and philosophy that cranial sacral massage is based on and I would recommend Mary as an extremely talented therapist with a gift for healing.
