Complementary Therapist Jennifer Dunne in her Own Words
I believe that health is your wealth.
Through a series of event in my life I have been drawn to the field of holistic health. I was working in the Retail Sector for many years, feeling totally unfulfilled and often asking myself ‘what’s it all about?’. Partially I was driven by seeing people I care for suffer and feeling helpless to do anything. That lead to an over-riding desire to find a way to make even a small difference and this has been the major motivation for my journey into holistic health care.
My journey started with Kinesiology. Without fully knowing why I was drawn to it, it has changed my life in so many ways. I have grown so much since I discovered it. The more I learned the more I wanted to learn. So I then undertook a course in Reiki which has further changed the way I look at things. From there I did massage, anatomy and physiology, and have just completed my diploma in Neuromuscular Therapy. Currently, I am studying Diet and Nutrition with ITEC which I am finding fascinating. Who knows where this journey will end.
Now I get so much satisfaction from my work. I am in the fortunate position of learning so much from my clients. I give thanks everyday for the life I have.
