In 2003 I had what I can only describe as a life changing spiritual event. After this I was asked to give Spiritual healings in Ireland and the UK which I did in a discreet and private way. In 2004 I met a Reiki master who had many gifts and from that time my work and relationship with Reiki, the process of healing, settling of the mind, recognition of Bio Emotional outcomes has been shared, explored, developed and remains ever growing. With Clients, Friends Family and Professionals alike, I have been blessed to encounter those people whom embrace their potential for growth, self love, healing and a desire for the contentment of being who they are and can be.

I am a Reiki Master, Cibtac qualified Reflexologist, Cibtac qualified Anatomy and Physiology, Certificate in Spiritual Counselling. I am a Fully insured and qualified Reiki and Reflexology practitioner for the past six years, I also teach Reiki. Over the past several years I have treated many clients (including children) with a wide variety of problems physical, Spiritual and emotional.

Extreme fatigue Syndrome, Spinal problems, Anaesthetic related exhaustion, Stress, Depression, Chronic Anxiety, Spiritual and Psychic interaction problems are some of the Dis-eases that I have worked with successfully in recent times. Assisting people to develop a comfortable relationship with and within themselves on all levels is a predominant feature of my practice. Young people respond well to treatments as they are often less resistant to the idea of healing from within.

I do occasionally make home visits by special arrangement which may incur an excess to my usual fee Radius up to 40 miles. My clinic is about 10 minutes from New Ross, 20 minutes from Waterford and 30 minutes from Kilkenny City.

I usually see my clients between 5pm and 9pm as this allows most people a reasonable time to access the service. Weekends and other times can be arranged when and where available.

What is Reiki ?

Reiki is a gentle but powerful hands on Energy healing art. It helps restore balance and harmony to the mind and body. Used throughout the world by people of all creeds and belief systems, Reiki is something that can benefit everyone. Reiki has been described as many things and is considered by some as a yet to be understood scientific phenomenon and by others as a natural spiritual force. In modern times it is recognised as having been re discovered by Dr Mikao Usui, whom after much research and effort discovered the means and ways of Reiki in ancient text and through many days meditation and fasting. This task took him many years to achieve.

It is undoubtedly unique to each of us and passes no judgement upon us. That is to say Reiki does not refuse to help anyone who is naturally drawn to it. It flows as a river flows to the sea, shaping the land naturally according to its form. It gives its healing energy like water as it passes without question and without loss of itself. It is described as universal life force energy, and just like a river, once in the sea it

will evaporate into clouds and be carried by the wind to the mountains where it will condense into rain falling and returning to the river once again. It flows as love flows in an eternal cycle of giving and sharing.

The experience of sharing Reiki with another is a very special one; I use the word sharing quite deliberately. For it cannot be denied that the learning we receive by taking part in a Reiki treatment can at times be equally as profound for the giver as the receiver. Giving, receiving, and sharing. A sacred trilogy that we all need to learn in real terms, that is to say that we must learn to give, receive and share without thought of what we are gaining in physical or power terms, but purely and only for the joy in the active experience that this gives to our lives. When we are blessed to be working with these three great movements in life we are truly allowing the universe to dance through us, to be a true channel for the highest good; that is Love.

The highest good does not always express itself in terms that we understand, because we are only a channel for this dance we are not always aware of what the next step should be. So it is that we cannot always assume that a healing experience should bring about physical health. Many terminally ill have received great healing in preparation for physical death, in acceptance, in understanding of the self and in embracing an opportunity to assist those that are to remain. This principle also applies in the so called everyday Reiki experience; therefore it is important to place no demands upon a healing.

The two ways to experience the energy are to have a Reiki treatment from a Reiki practitioner or to learn how to channel the energy for yourself.

Some maternity hospitals around the world now offer Reiki as a complementary form of therapy.
